Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are highly motivated learners who love to acquire new information each day. Each student arrives to my classroom ready to learn and explore. I love seeing the progress that each one of my students makes each day.
In our school, we are focusing on the integration of science, technology, engineering, art and math.
Students in my classroom encourage each other to reach academic goals and model kindness throughout our school. As a Learning Lab, students engage in hands-on learning throughout the day.
My Project
My students will use the art supplies to help express their creativity in language arts.
Help my students bring artist studies to life through the writing process with art supplies.
Students will create pieces of art based on the studies of moods, design, color and medium based on artist in different time periods.
The art pieces created will lead into poetry, personal narratives and creative writing. Help me unleash the creativity in my students to express themselves through art and writing. My middle school students will thrive with new supplies to create models of artists that they have studied.
