Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My pre-kindergarten students are very active and so creative. It is incredible to see how much they have already learned regarding classroom rules, routines, procedures, and working collaboratively with one another. It is incredible to see them so engaged and motivated while using their imagination.
With this variety of collage materials of collage buttons, stickers, gemstones, and more it will enrich our art center to help my students continue to create art.
Art helps my students develop observation and interpretation skills. Children learn the fundamentals of art — color, line, shape, form, and texture — by painting and drawing and making collages and talking about their work.
