Welcome to the Creativity Classroom! We are a middle school in a high need community (over 95% of students on free lunch) with bright students! We need supplies to help us unleash our creativity in the name of science!

Because over 95% of our students qualify for free lunch, many do not have the money at home to buy the day to day supplies needed for class. This means that they surely cannot afford what we would call "luxury items," such as markers and colored pencils. These items, however, are crucial to understanding science.

I am asking for markers, pencils, colored pencils, transparency markers, and scissors in order to establish a "Creativity Corner" in my classroom. When visualizing cells on paper or creating foldables to study from, color adds a visual spice which will keep the students interested in the subject at hand. Additionally, using color and color-coding is an easy way to remember difficult information. For this reason, I encourage all of my students to use colors in their assignments to help them learn!

With your help, my students will be able to use creativity in order to learn science! You will give them a new outlook on the subject and allow them to experience science to the fullest.
