This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology can be a powerful equalizer in education—when students are given access to the right tools, their potential becomes limitless. This project provides an Apple iPad and Apple Pencil to support digital learning, creative expression, and academic engagement. Whether students are using it to illustrate a story, annotate a science diagram, edit a film project, or practice handwriting, the iPad becomes a versatile learning companion. Many of my students are eager to explore technology but don’t have access to these tools at home. By integrating the iPad into our classroom, I can offer more personalized instruction, creative projects, and differentiated support.

The Apple Pencil takes this learning even further by allowing students to interact directly with content in tactile, artistic, and hands-on ways.

It’s a powerful tool for students who are visual learners, emerging artists, or simply need a more interactive way to process information. With the iPad, we can also expand our options for digital portfolios, multimedia assignments, and collaborative work—helping students prepare for a future where tech fluency is essential. This project invests in equity, creativity, and innovation, ensuring all students have access to the 21st-century skills they deserve.
