Creativity and Therapy Through Art

Help me give my students storage bins full of chenille stem pipe cleaners and other assorted art supplies to help them spark their creativity and relieve their stress!

My Project

Students thrive on being creative! Being able to manipulate art materials and use what they learn in their reading of social studies and science topics will help students create art projects to display their knowledge.

Using these art supplies will also be therapeutic for students.

When they are given opportunities to think and develop works of art, students are more focused and dedicated to their work in class. Creating art gives students an outlet to destress and have time to calm their bodies and minds.

Putting these art supplies into my student's hands will help them with not only their academic goals but also their social, emotional well-being.
