This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are working hard to learn reading, writing, math and the English language. As we work through lessons, sometimes students don’t like to feel like others are looking at them as they are trying to figure things out. I want to provide the privacy folders so that students don’t always feel like they are in a fish bowl when they are working. This will help to keep their minds off of what others are doing and help them to focus more.
Having an opportunity to use creativity allows students to build confidence and share their ideas in inspiring ways.
We will use the colorful construction paper, craft sticks and scissors to help us to show our creative thinking.
The seat sacks will help to house each students materials and help them to be more organized so that we lose less time looking for items when it’s time to transition.
