This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With this project my students will gain confidence and a solid understanding of colors, color mixing skills improve with practice. Painting is a way for children to do so many things like express their emotions, use their senses and explore colors, skill that my students need to develop it. Also, not only painting, the use of sensory sand, can help my students to work on their finger muscle strength and control, especially when digging sand with their fingers.
Sand sensory play can help my students to develop fine motor skills and hand-eyes coordination and sensory exploration.
