My Project
This project introduces a soft start approach to the classroom, where students ease into their day through engaging, creative, and hands-on activities. The focus is on fostering early learning skills in a relaxed and interactive way, combining art, construction, and problem-solving. The activities include:
A moveable dry erase board that is easier for the students to interact with during circle time as well as be able to create lessons for them to engage in and write/draw on the board.
Dot Markers & Art Projects: Dot markers are used for creative expression, allowing children to explore colors, patterns, and fine motor coordination while completing art projects.
3D Pen Creations: Students use 3D pens to bring their imagination to life, creating shapes, structures, and designs that help develop fine motor skills and spatial awareness.
Tetra Stackers & Building Blocks: These building toys encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and early engineering skills as students build structures and explore concepts of balance, symmetry, and design.
Puzzles & ABC Games: Simple puzzles and alphabet games are integrated into the activities to promote cognitive development, pattern recognition, letter recognition, and early literacy skills.
Slime Making: Slime activities provide a sensory-rich experience that promotes tactile learning, creativity, and scientific exploration as students mix materials to create and manipulate slime.
Through these activities, the project not only encourages creativity and learning but also provides a calm, engaging start to the day, helping children transition smoothly into more structured learning experiences. It’s designed to foster collaboration, critical thinking, and a love of hands-on learning in a playful and enjoyable environment.
