Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to give my students white molding clay, shaving cream and liquid tempera of many colors.
Children can mix the white clay with different colors to see how by mixing them the colors change.
I also want to give them shaving cream that they can also mix with the colored tempera to discover what happens when you mix colors. These materials let children use their imagination and be creative while developing fine motor skills. Using these materials also helps with eye hand coordination and the children learn color names and get to do science experiments too.
