it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K classroom is a vibrant, hands-on learning environment where students can explore and become life-long learners. I want to keep them in engaged. This is their very first year of school, and I love to set their expectations high. I have 18 wonderful, fun, loving Pre-K students, who are learning in two languages English and Spanish. I have 6 boys and 12 girls. They come to school ready to learn each day. they are quick to ask questions, participate and jump in to explore and discover. They will learn to discover, explore with confidence and develop a lifetime love of learning.
My Project
My students enjoy technology and I would love to incorporate it in one of the learning centers. A tablet with a variety of programs would be exciting and inviting to them. I can tell by the conversations we have during circle time that these students need to be challenged. I want to be able to provide them with all the resources they need.
My students love to use their imaginations and love building different structures.
Children are experts at creating art and even the shy ones gain such pride and confidence when they see their artwork valued by others. This art table will offer a large work area for children to build, draw, and create. This multipurpose plastic table features molded-in storage areas and keep project supplies organized. Students will have easy access to pencils, markers, crayons and paint brushes.
The magnet tiles and Legos give the opportunity to children to learn about science, and building strategies. It will promotes hand-eye coordination and motor development. It also helps them enhance collaborative skills, creativity, perseverance and problem-solving skills. Learning that a tower of blocks may topple without proper support helps children develop valuable spatial skills. Playing with construction toys is crucial to a child’s ever developing cognitive thinking skills.
By funding this crucial project, you will provide a beautiful art space where students can express their wonderful art.
