This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The requested supplies were chosen because they are colorful and inviting. My new class of first grade students will love creating and thinking critically while using brand new Expo markers and Sharpie pens. The task cards will help students with vocabulary while practicing their reading and writing skills. Students will be able to build and create with the classic brick starter pack. The colorful highlighter overlay bookmarks will help students track words as they are learning to read.
The importance of making lessons engaging for my inquisitive first grade students is imperative to student success.
