Creativity and Critical Thinking Through STEM Projects
My students need STEM projects to help them become critical thinkers in the 21st century learning environment.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Warman's classroom raised $310

My Students
I teach in a Title I building, where all students receive free breakfast and lunch as well as a snack. Many of these students receive a free sack of food to eat on the weekend as well. Even though these students have hardships, they are ready and eager to learn.
My students walk into my room everyday full of life and ready to tell me all about their adventure last night.
We work on social skills as well as academics in order to help these students achieve to their full potential.
My Project
All students want to be creative and critical thinkers. My class can help cultivate these thinkers by allowing them to explore materials. Magnetic shapes allow students to create cities with the shapes. The buildings they build will require them to use their imaginations to play. While playing, young learners will develop their oral language skills by asking questions and figuring out to work with other students.
STEM materials allow my students to use critical thinking on how and what to make.
Students will be encouraged to discuss with other students on what they are making and how to make it using the materials given. Thus encouraging their imagination and creativity.
