This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students that I am teaching are striving to reach grade level in English/ Language Arts. My students are low income students in the Metropolitan are of Los Angeles, CA.
The classroom is in need of an LCD projector.
This will give my students access to technology. This will give my students access to 21 Century classroom equipment. As part of our vision statement for my school, we are committed to produce students that are ready for college and career.
My Project
By implementing the Writer's Workshop model, my students will begin to see themselves as true authors and illustrators. We will use The LCD projector to aide us in the research of authors of all times. This work will aid our students in the process of becoming life-long writers and researchers.
As the teacher, my focus is that our students meet the SAT and ACT writing requirements, and by using technology in the classroom, will help our students reach that goal.
Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. At this current time my classroom only has one chrome book.
