My Project
Art for my students is not just a resource it is a way to express themselves. They come in with outside problems and are expected, like adults, to put them aside. Through art they don't have to. They can openly express them selves and tell us their life through visual art and design. Art also helps the students develop creativity and stimulate both sides of their brain. They can take paper and turn it to the most beautiful thing you could ever imagine. One paper could be a panda riding an airplane to help the trees. Another could be a kid growing up to be a police officer that helps kids like him. Please give these kids a voice by allowing them to have more material to have their voice heard. There is nothing worse than telling a kid they cant because we ran out of the supplies. We can reach to the stars with new paints and metallic color blends. You can help them make it to the moon with extra paper to 3-D their way through space. All this and more can be achieved with the materials on the list. The kids here would greatly appreciate your help.
