My Project
As an elementary educator, I see the need to be creative in how and what we need the students to know before exiting their current grade. These tools will facilitate students learning: whiteboards and markers allow students to generate their thoughts on given prompts, erasable pens making handwritten assignments exciting, poster pad and markers may be used for team projects/subject strategies, clip boards to learn outside of class and a mobile bin to keep supplies in.
The goal is to have supplies to create a mobile classroom to help students engage in place-based, culture based, and 'aina based learning.

The students I work with never cease to amaze me. They are kind, hard working, mindful, problem solvers, respectful and loving. When you least expect it, they got it! I'm grateful and humbled to be on this learning journey with them.
