My Students
Kids these days love to write RIGHT? Wrong. They need creative and interesting ways to get them to start the writing process!
My kids are a special group of third graders that just love to try new and exciting things.
They are very social and just need that extra push to get their active thoughts down. They need that little bit of inspiration to get their creative juices flowing!
My Project
I have requested items such as racket shaped dry erase boards and accessories. I think this would really get all students in my room participating and wanting to write! I also asked for clipboards. I know this sounds like such a simple inexpensive resource, but believe me when I say this would open doors! Literally, we could take our writing all over the school and even outside! This would allow for students to write anywhere! I am so excited for the potential to receive these items!
I have wanted some of these resources for close to two years now and am so excited that I found such a fabulous website to support me in this teaching venture.
I really feel these resources would make a difference in my classroom! These resources would allow for many more writing opportunities throughout the day and across subject areas. Research has shown when a child is writing they are much more capable of retaining information, which is ever important in a testing grade!
