My Project
The students I teach come from lower socioeconomic families and cannot afford much. My district does not have a budget to provide the basics that my students need for the classroom. I started out the year with a few boxes of crayons, pencils and markers. These supplies will be placed in a special creative writing center for students to access during our writing block.
During our creative writing block, we have worked on writing Personal Narratives, Opinion Writing and Poetry. The supplies will help to enhance the projects that go along with each type of writing.
