Creative Writing Space for Kindergarten

Help me give my students a new and engaging writing center area. The wooden shelves will give students a space to keep their personal items and help them feel organized and take ownership of their work.

My Project

I am working on creating a more engaging and exciting creative writing space in my classroom. I would love to be able to provide my students with a space to store all of their writing supplies and a fun space to sit and write. I feel it is important for kiddos to take ownership of their work and if they each have their own space, with the rainbow drawer storage, to store their things I feel that not only will their attention to detail improve, but so will their confidence and what they produce. I feel that also if they have a comfy place (floor chairs) to sit and a hard surface (clip boards) it will help their writing really come to life.

Creative writing is so important for students to help build their ability to imagine and create.

We have been working so hard all year on writing and making it fun and entertaining. My students have been working hard on not giving up and trying their best to create great writing! I have a classroom full of potential and I would love to see their writing take the next step.
