My Students
I teach half day Kindergarten, one class in the morning and another in the afternoon. My students are at school for a little over two hours a day. We learn a lot in the short amount of time we have together! We use every minute of the school day to learn new things.
My students love to come to school to learn and try new things.
They are excited to try new things and take risks when it comes to their learning. My students love doing hands on activities when learning something new or reviewing skills
My Project
In Kindergarten we practice writing sentences every day! My students love to write about personal experiences, as well as, things we are learning about together as a class. Our class uses writing as a creative outlet and a way to enrich our learning.
These resources would provide different and creative ways for my students to practice their writing.
My students love using whiteboards to write! It is something new and different. It also allows students to make corrections to their writing easily. Whiteboards with manuscript lines will help my students find more space to write their sentences and encourage them to use better handwriting. They would also enjoy using the table spots when practicing high frequency words or writing words in small group. The sentences building box will help students who need more scaffolding when creating their own sentences.
