This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in the 4th grade and need to understand the basics of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing which are very important skills they need in order to succeed this year.

Our school is a Title 1 school and the majority of students qualifies for a free lunch.

My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures. Some of the students in my class are not working at grade level in reading and/or math. My students are eager to learn and enjoy anything that has to do with technology and hands-on activities.

My Project

Writing is an essential skill my students need to learn and achieve this year. We need your help to make our education experience the very best it can be. By donating to our project, you will be providing my students with three-ring binders that will help them keep their writing, classwork, and homework in a safe and organized place. The pencils will allow them to write their rough drafts and complete their writing assignments with the toner, they will be able to type and publish the writing pieces that we will so proudly display in our classroom bulletin boards.
