Our smart and engaging students are interested in expanded opportunities. They want to explore their ideas with hands-on projects that allow them to develop and solve problems in a way that reflects the nature of such context in real life. Our students only see possibilities in the world despite the many obstacles they face outside the classroom. Our students are bright, engaging, clever and believe in themselves. As their teacher, I am committed to providing them with unlimited opportunities to have fun.
My Project
My classroom was fortunate enough to receive an Osmo last year from one of our DonorsChoose.org campaigns. My students absolutely love it! In fact, they often fight over it. This school year our class received three additional iPads and I would love to have an Osmo for each of them. The creative games that come on Osmo teach students how to draw complex designs through a mirroring process. Students can even create pictures out of shapes and watch their drawings come to life on screen. In addition to all of the creative programs, the Osmo apps also have a bilingual option that offers instruction in Spanish or English.
