My Students

My students are energetic and eager to learn! They make coming to work every day worth it! As first graders they want to know everything and have lots of questions. They are willing to search out their answers and explore new things.

First grade is about building the foundations of education which will create life long learners.

It's important for me to create an atmosphere where students love to come and to learn to love learning. My students always come to school with a smile!

My Project

We love to make lots of art projects in first grade and we go through supplies like candy! Having extras on hand is always helpful and always makes the students smile when they can find the colors they need. Science is also a fun subject for students and when it can be made with hands on experiments it brings it to life for them and they enjoy it so much more. Students also can use the flexible seating to help with concentrating. The books are a great way to help teach important life skills that are so important to learn in today's world.
