Help me give my students with special needs a consistent and engaging virtual learning experience utilizing the document camera to engage students at home (whom will be building workstation with other materials needed) alongside those in my classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Zimmer's classroom raised $350
This project is fully funded
My Students
My 5th grade students have abilities that limit performance in areas of reading, writing, and math but do not limit them from trying their hardest to succeed! 5th grade is often full of students innocently driven to excel in social, emotional, and academic areas. I love that the students value our relationship even years after they are gone!
My Project
The document viewer will allow my students with reading dyslexia to engage in print material as they are familiar with viewing (instead of all computer created documents without accessibility to write on easily). Students will receive 1:1 instruction utilizing a Research Based Program, Wilson Language System, that isn’t meant to be delivered virtually.
The tri-folds, pencil pouches, and dry erase sleeves will be added to the existing supplies I’ve purchased to allow students to make workspaces for home that limit visual distractions while providing needed tools.
Half of students from low‑income households
