This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students spend a lot of time in their chairs. They are amazing children who may not get all of their needs met at home. Our classroom is a home away from home, which I try to make inviting, and as comfortable as possible for them. Some of our current chairs are cracked and broken, resulting in the students getting pinched and or scratched. My students would enjoy having a variety of choices each day for selecting comfortable seating choices. I know how excited they will be to have the options of seats made available to them!
