Help me give my students tools to turn waste into fuel for their creativity. Access to student safe cardboard cutters will help us upcycle cardboard into sculpture.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The award winning artists at my Title 1 school love making 3D art. With hundreds of students it can be hard to stock ample materials to keep our very busy art studio running. Investing in these student safe cardboard cutters will help us unlock the creative potential of one of the most readily available (and free) resources we have access to.
Learning to upcycle basic materials like cardboard into compelling sculptures will showcase to talent these young people have, model ways we can leverage creative constraints, and help make good use of materials that would otherwise add to our landfill.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
