This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creative projects are a great way for students to show what they have learned in a different format. Whether it's language arts or social studies, my students show what they have learned using their imagination and ingenuity.

From cave art to Mendhi hands, from one-pagers to mummifying a stuffed animal and sending it off to their Egyptian afterlife, my 6th-graders are engaged in a whole host of different projects.

These art supplies will allow students to elevate their work, to create a one-of-a-kind project that they can feel proud of.
