Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Prek-3 students at a Title 1 School. Their enthusiasm and love of learning inspire me to be the best teacher I can be. My students come from various racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I want my classroom supplies to reflect the diversity in my students. They deserve to see themselves in their learning environment.
Our dollhouse center is in dire need of a refresher.
With new furniture and ethnically diverse dolls, my students will have the opportunity to let their imaginations soar. They will also see their beautiful cultures and races represented in their classroom.
