My Project
As an elementary art teacher working with students who have special needs, I see firsthand how important hands-on, multisensory tools are in helping every child feel successful, inspired, and included in the art room. Many of my students thrive when given the opportunity to explore through touch, movement, and play.
These materials—such as fidget-friendly tools, building sets, textured manipulatives, and interactive games—will help my students regulate their emotions, focus during art-making, and express themselves more fully.
They’ll be able to experiment with shape, color, and design in ways that feel accessible and meaningful.
