This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge," Albert Einstein. I am trying to reawaken the creativeness of my students through various curriculum projects that will increase their motivation to learn.
Many of the students from my school come from low income households, therefore they often come to school without the supplies they need for daily work.
I also do not have as many families able to donate artistic supplies as some of my other teacher friends. My students work well with what they have, but they are extremely grateful when they get the opportunity to use different types of papers and drawing utensils to create projects that showcase their work in a creative way.
My Project
The resources I purchased will be used to help build student's creative minds, and increase their participation in classroom projects. The blue exam books are an excellent start for student writing and brainstorming. The books will be used for students to use to draft creative stories when they come across a good idea for writing. Colored pencils, markers and construction paper will be used as supplies for students to participate in projects for all subjects. Students will be able to complete covers for their writings and readings, they will be able to create masterpieces they can be proud to show off.
This project will make a difference in the interactive learning of all of my students on a daily basis.
It will provide them with the opportunity to create more creative learning experiments and projects. They will be able to use these resources when needed, they will be kept out for their use during all activities.
