My Project

I am a School Social Worker in an urban school district. I work within the special needs department. Many of my students are very artistic and have special skills they can express through the work of art.

As a school social worker who conducts hands on projects during both individual and group counseling sessions, I’ve learned over the years many of my students are extremely artistic and love creating and designing their own projects.

By providing my students with the purchase of a Cricut Machine, my students will be able to see firsthand, how they can take the smallest thought, item, or tool and create something so amazing and wonderful. They would learn many valuable skills, where they would be able to think of what they can create beyond a piece of paper.

My students special projects are already completed for them, where a Cricut machine would give them the insight and opportunity to create their own projects, the way they like. I would love to help my students bring their creative minds together. This machine can assist with creating projects that they would be able to use to fundraise to offset the cost of other costly projects we do throughout the year.
