This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a vibrant and resilient community in the Bronx, where creativity thrives even in the face of daily challenges. Many of our students live in neighborhoods impacted by high poverty and crime, and they often carry the weight of those realities into the classroom.

This project will provide individual arts and crafts kits designed to blend hands-on creativity with STEM learning.

Our students will use these materials to explore concepts like symmetry, engineering, geometric design, and basic physics in a way that feels engaging, creative, and empowering.
