My Students

We are a school of choice in the southeast sector of a major city that has students eager to learn and eager to grow with freedom of expression. We are a low socio-economic area of this major city, but we have something that money can not account for...our imagination and our intelligence.

Art is one of the many ways that these students can freely express themselves without fear.

Art classes thrive on students' imaginations. Students' imaginations thrive on the feeling of "home." This feeling is what we are endeavoring to create at our school... a feeling of home, a feeling of belonging, a feeling that I am free from fear for a few brief moments.

My Project

We are a small school in a major area that is in need of Art supplies. Art supplies that will help us grow our minds and see things in a different light.

We love drawing and would love to get better at it.

We are in great need of drawing paper and drawing pencils for our classes. The first step to being a good artist to learn how to draw and draw correctly.

The use of the elements of art (line, space, shape, form, texture, and color) helps to being our stories, our lessons to life. That is what we are asking help in, bringing our lessons to life.
