This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a low-income school with a very diverse mix of students in my classroom. For many of my students, English is their second language. Along with different ethnicities and backgrounds, comes a diverse set of learning styles. My goal is to create a classroom environment which allows students to collaborate and be creative as they learn reading and writing.
Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find new and different ways to teach students, written and developed by teachers for teachers.
I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase grade-level resources and activities for my students. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers will help support and motivate my students!
The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, current, and relevant. These resources are created and reviewed by actual classroom teachers. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will greatly help with effective planning and will be highly beneficial for my students as it will give me access to thousands of resources. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are creative and highly engaging.
