My Project
Our Project, Creative Learning in a MakerSpace, is to request items to make our classroom learning hands-on, engaging and fun. We are requesting Walkie Talkies for students to use in our Multimedia Class in which students will be recording video, taking pictures, and reporting around the school. The Walkie Talkies will create another form of communication and also teach students communication etiquette.
Creating a fun, dynamic and interactive classroom experience to teach students technical skills is essential.
We are asking for a button machine so students can take their creative designs and make a tangible product. Students will learn graphic design and be able to transform their online work into a product. Students will learn photography and our project is requesting adapters so students can upload their work to the computer.
In Computer Science Rubber Ducks are provided to students as a debugging strategy which will be used as a teaching technique for students to breakdown their code and explain the logic behind their programs to their duck. While students are explaining the code, it allows students to see the opportunities in their programming.
