My Students
My students are highly motivated, hard-working, and dedicated to their academics. My students learn Digital Information Technology, Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles, and Advanced Placement Computer Science A.
We are a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) school.
Our school is a Marine Academy of Science and Technology and the only public magnet school in Florida that resides on a public university campus. Our classroom infuses STEM into the curriculum to allow students to have cross-curriculum, instruction that incorporates their core subject areas while providing students with critical thinking skills.
My Project
Our classroom is a makerspace that allows for collaboration, problem solving and creativity; with hands on learning. This programmable robot will give students the ability to use critical thinking, problem solving, and computational thinking to assemble and program this Robotic xArm. Once the robotic arm is assembled students will be able to continue learning and coding it.
Hands-on learning is essential to taking students knowledge to the next level.
In our classroom we currently have a 3D printer and these additional filaments will provide us with more options to design, create, and print; with 2 additional colors.
The SuFly Button Maker Badge Machine, will allow for us to take our creativity and designs and make buttons that show off our school spirit and students creativity.
