My Students
I love coming to work every day where the cows greet you as you drive down the school driveway. The cows are a favorite among the students, staff and community. Even though we are a new school and still working on forming an active PTO and building community relationships, our students, families and staff have created a great family atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome when they enter our school building.
My students are eager, energetic and very curious to learn about the world around them!
We celebrate success as a classroom family and encourage each other to try their best. We have worked hard to create a positive, supportive classroom family where all students are brave to try something new. My students love to learn and share their learning with others.
My Project
My students are fortunate to learn in a beautiful, new classroom. We have huge windows that allow us to view the beautiful landscape of green grass, trees and our playground. Our classroom provides us the perfect environment to allow our creative juices to flow.
My students are given the opportunity daily to create masterpieces that extend our learning in the classroom and they are given the opportunity to create freely during our free play in the afternoon.
Our classroom is in need of some new items to allow my students to continue being creative students. The side walk chalk, bubbles and bubble wands will give students the opportunity to be creative at recess. They will be able to explore with various bubble wand designs and make different size bubbles. The sidewalks will be filled with beautiful art designs all created by students! The rainbow scratch paper is so much fun, even adults will want to create! Using this paper and the scratch paper tools, students will scratch the paper in any design of their choosing and the design will be created in rainbow colors. Just imagine how much fun it would be to create a design and the surprise of the color beneath! The ink pads will allow my students to make hand print and thumbprint art. They will also be able to use the design shape punchers to punch out a variety of shapes, designs and animals to use in their art creations. The creative options are endless when we are able to give the materials that they need to create.
