Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I am requesting will be used daily and weekly by my students.
My students enjoy using their dry erase whiteboards to create new words and sentences to see who can spell words the fastest, and the markers and erasers will be used to speed up going from one word to the next.
Our glue sticks are used for reading and math activities when my students use what they have learned to craft something special to see their hard work posted around the classroom.
After all of their hard work, they enjoy earning small prizes that they can take home and enjoy with their families.
In our technology center, students use their iPads to take tests and need a good set of headphones to ensure they have the best opportunity to succeed in their work.
The homework mailbox and label maker will be used to help keep our class organized with where things should be and what belongs to each student.
Lastly with daily use of our printer, we regularly run out of ink and paper or run into printer problems that can throw off entire learning sessions. Having a new classroom printer will help us easily get our materials printed.
All of these materials will go a long way into how the students use them and what they use them for.
