Help me give my students paper, paint, and glue so they can continue to create a variety of art projects.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am lucky to work in an urban school where I teach over 500 diverse students. About 80% of our students fall below the poverty line and face a number of challenges at home and at school. We also have a large population of students who are new to the country. Despite a number of challenges, these kids look forward to coming to school and are ready to give their best.
These students overcome obstacles with great motivation and a positive attitude.
They impress the teachers each day as they walk into school with a smile, hug or high five. They are loving, kind and appreciative. I want to provide these kids with the very best opportunities; they truly deserve this.
My Project
These materials will be used by all students in grades K - 4th. All grade levels will be working on color theory by completing a number of tempera and watercolor and painting lessons. The construction paper will be used to mount their work for the spring art show as well as be used to complete various art projects. The glaze will be used so that students can add glossy color to their beautiful clay creations.
Just wait and see what my kids can do with basic art supplies!
They truly are an amazing group of kids who will appreciate this gift. It is also an important lesson in kindness and generosity.
