My Project
The students in my area are impacted by COVID in they aren't being exposed to books, learning with their hands, and connecting all their senses while learning. With our school's curriculum we are focused to strengthen their reading and their interest in reading and one way to do that for Kindergarteners is to have books they can actually read on their own. Giving them the confidence and autonomy to read independently not only develops their own personal interest but it'll build on other subject matters that are in the stories and experiences they have. Students now days are glued to screens, tvs, and other electronic devices which weakens their hands, stamina, and doesn't get children moving. I'd like to expose my students to different ways they can have educational experiences.
