Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m hoping that through this project, my students will be provided with more resources to support their social communication skills development through group play that motivates them to make real and captivating social interaction. The items I’m requesting have been the tangible items of interest to them lately. Considering that students with ASD have a specific preferred item that can reinforce them to make connection to their peers, I believe that making them available enough to them would be absolutely helpful to support them engage in social interaction during leisure time while promoting creativity, engagement, connection and genuine fun.
