This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt appeal to support our Ceramics and Unified Art classes. As an educator deeply committed to fostering creativity and inclusivity, I am excited to share with you the inspiring work we are doing and the opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact.
Our project aims to provide essential tools and supplies for Ceramics 1, 2, and 3 classes, as well as our Unified Art class, which specifically supports students with autism or Down’s syndrome.
These classes serve as platforms for self-expression, skill development, and community building, touching the lives of over 150 students each semester.
By donating to our cause, you will enable us to acquire the materials needed to unleash the artistic potential of our students. With your support, we will be able to create a wide array of ceramic pieces, from bowls and plates to textured vases and wearable art such as earrings. These materials are not just for one-time use; they will benefit countless students for years to come, providing them with opportunities to explore their creativity and develop valuable skills.
