My Project
I am writing to seek your generous support for a special project designed to enhance the learning experiences of my students, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
At our school, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students can thrive.
Many of my students with ASD benefit significantly from hands-on, sensory-rich activities that engage their creativity and help build fine motor skills. To support this, I am looking to incorporate crafting activities using Sculpey clay, knitting looms, and embroidery into our classroom.
These materials will not only support the students in developing their artistic skills but also provide therapeutic benefits, such as improving concentration, enhancing fine motor skills, and offering a calming activity that can help reduce anxiety.
Impact of the Project:
This project aims to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for my students with ASD. By incorporating these crafting activities, I hope to:
Enhance students' creativity and self-expression.
Improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Provide a soothing and enjoyable activity that helps manage stress and anxiety.
Foster a sense of accomplishment and boost self-esteem through completed projects.
