This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are great! They love drawing. They are eager to start art class. The materials in this project will allow for them to create their own About Me self-portraits.

There is no better way to escape from life than with art.

Please help my students gain access to art supplies that will help introduce them to the healing power of art.

We are looking forward to creating About Me Self-Portraits and discussing embracing oneself as well. The supplies will help bring this activity to life. It will also bring nothing but warmth and smiles to my class. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.
