Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to do projects! They get so excited whenever we take out the art supplies! So having school supplies will allow them so be able to do more hands on projects where they can be creative and engaged learners.

My students will be using the art supplies in science, Social studies, math, writing and reading.

Art is integrated in each subject to promote learning.

Pencils are an essential tool at our school! It’s something that students go through quickly by taking many notes, tests, and completing their assignments.

Scissors, glue sticks, play dough and markers are supplies that my students enjoy using on their projects. At the beginning of each school year, the students like to do a STEM project where they design and engineer their dream school. By having these materials, my students will be able to make their amazing dream schools! I can’t wait to see what they create!

Dry erasers are very handy when it comes to using the dry erase white boards. Each student gets one eraser and they take care of it through out the year. They use them to practice their spelling words and learn how to write complete sentences. Many of my students request using more dry erase boards in my lessons!
