My Project
As a teacher, I strive to provide a safe space for students to engage in both rigorous academic and social emotional learning. I want to transform the room so that it feels less institutional and more like a welcoming, relaxing student friendly space. I need your help to bring classroom supplies include composition note books for daily notes, name tags for projects, classroom decorations and mounting strips that will help create a sense of place and belonging.
With your help, we can create a welcoming space for them to learn about the world and gain the skills to be successful in life.
My Social Studies students range from grades 6th-8th with a wide level of abilities. They are very active and vibrant and are multi-sensory learners. My focus is to offer them a variety of learning experiences that are rigorous and student-centered. In order to accomplish my goal, I wish to create a classroom that is inspiring and visually appealing.
