This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm an art Teacher, and this is my first year teaching at this school. The items I'm requesting are mostly instructional books & comic books to help my students draw with images of reference for their art assignments.

My goal is to bring joy and motivation to my students by building an Art Library in my class by getting illustrated books, encouraging them to have more interest in both learning art & reading.

My students are for me the quirkiest I could ever ask for, and I feel that this library would help them have a space to develop their minds in a creative and fun way, with texts that interest them.
