Creative Art During These Crazy Times

My Project

This year has been quite a stressful year for myself and my students. The COVID pandemic dictated and continues to dictate most of our everyday moves. Learning is different and much more complex especially for my 5 year olds. Making sure they follow our social distancing rules and having to wear a mask all day, every day is difficult for adults let alone my kindergarteners.

Due to social distancing and trying to keep each other self, my students do a lot of art activities individually.

The construction paper and other art supplies will be used for indoor recess play, read aloud drawings and other art projects. Art is a fantastic and fun way to engage all students in expressing their emotions and their creativity.

I will use these magic boards to practice writing letters, numbers and doodling. We will also use them as response boards to answer questions in whole group.

The laminator will be used to laminate individual projects for students to take home as keepsakes. The gift card will be used to purchase ready made social emotional lessons that I can use with my students.
