My Students

My students are busy little people. They are motivated to finish their work when they have something to look forward to after they are finished. Covid has really impacted their learning. Some have only been able to use computer or chromebook as their learning.

A lot of students have not spent very many hours at school, forcing remote learning.

However, if they are at school they still need something to encourage them to want to learn. There are several times throughout the day when we are working on a project that some get done way before others. I need a fun and resourceful computer program and some hands on manipulatives to help these kids learn without them really knowing they are learning. This will be their incentive to get their work done.

My Project

All of our students want to learn their math facts, whether they admit it or not. Our classes only have access to so many affordable math programs. The students get kind-of tired of doing the same online math programs that they've always done. By introducing something NEW and exciting to their day, the students will be encouraged to learn new ways to understand math.

The students that are not able to come to school, and participate in one to one learning, will have another way to keep up with the class.

The students that are able to come to school will have time in school and at home to catch up. So many students have lost a lot of learning time in the classroom. Covid has taken some kids back almost 2 years in the learning process. I want to provide these kids with a learning program at home and at school that intriques their little brains. They need to catch up on the learning they have lost.
