My Students
I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are enthusiastic learners who love to learn. They have individual needs which require a wide variety of resources. The best way to help my students is to provide them with a learning experience that is creative and meaningful.
My students are motivated, active, and love hands-on learning.
They like to learn in a variety of ways and love positive attention. Most of my students are receiving free breakfast and lunch based on their socioeconomic status. They truly love our classroom. I focus on creating an environment where they feel comfortable and loved. We have fun learning and I hope that instills a love of learning for a lifetime.
My Project
After this school year and the challenges that were faced by teachers and students, I would greatly appreciate some resources to use with my students from Teachers Pay Teachers. I am in need of math, reading, and writing centers. These resources will help when students are working in groups or independently. They will help to fill in the gaps from the unprecedented times that we have faced. These resources will promote hands-on learning and an active discussion amongst myself and my students. They will create a learning experience that is creative and meaningful.
