My Students

My students are energetic students that are on the move all the time! They love to be engaged learning new things and are excited to come to school to see what we are doing next. Each student is on their own level striving to learn authentically so they can apply their knowledge in real world experience.

The world today is filled with new technology and amazing opportunities for our students to learn!

Providing these opportunities will help them advance and succeed today! The class comes from a strong community. Each student loves to learn, but that method and environment in which they learn varies. We incorporate different learning strategies to help each child succeed. These include group work, alternative seating, and at times stations. They are an amazing group of students! They are creative and share so much with each other on their journey of learning.

My Project

Cubelets are a fun interactive robotic device that students can creatively and critical create to perform a specific function. The basic coding element found in these cubes will help give students a taste for the many amazing things they can do in the STEM world.

Students will learn to work together to create the basic robot and will see that they themselves have a role to its success.

Working cooperatively students will be engaged in finding new ways to connect the cubes. Giving students this opportunity will enhance their learning in ways that they would not get otherwise. With different learning levels, all students can be successful and find that each of them can be a part of STEM!
